Now this is something a bit special. This magnificent 7″ is the handiwork of Chris Walmsley, beatsmith for Voice Of The Seven Woods, Psapp, and is largely comprised of multitracked drums and percussion, with just a hint of moog thrown in for texture. The resultant sound is astonishingly textured, managing to be both beautifully recorded and incredibly well-composed. It’s hard to categorize exactly what genre of music you’d lump this in with, but certainly, a debt is owed to Can, and perhaps also the dark improv of Supersilent.
